Lake Jarun

Joggers, strollers & cyclists

Originally constructed to serve as a rowing venue for the World Student Games of 1987, the artificial lake of Jarun is a 2km-long stretch of water surrounded by foot- and cycle-paths and boasting several stretches of shingle beach.

A line of cafes and clubs on the northern shore caters for party people on warm evenings.

The southern side offers most in the way of greenery and tree shade, with kids’ playpark, skate- and BMX-park, and also a secluded naturist beach.
