Northern Group Islands

Mostly off the grid for international visitors

The Northern Group sees very few international visitors. These islands are very remote and have extremely limited visitor facilities. If foreigner visitors do turn up, it tends to be on their own yachts.

That said, Air Rarotonga offers flights to Manihiki, Penrhyn and Pukapuka.

If you go, make sure you do your homework and know when the next return flight is scheduled - and remember that it may not turn up!

And if you’re not going, hit the links just to check out images of these amazing atolls and lagoons. Fuel those dreams!
