Largest charity beach festival in Europe (Jul)

Paddle round the Pier

This charity event is based on the scenic Hove Lawns, just adjacent to the beach, and takes place annually in July.

The main event is the Big Paddle when participants paddle around the pier utilising a range of flotation devices.

Both watersports and urban street sports are on the agenda, with live bands playing in the evening.

Whether you are a participant or spectator, Paddle around the Pier is a lot of fun, especially if the sun is shining.
