Brighton Fishing Museum

A glimpse into Brighton's Past

19-057 Brighton Fishing Museum - two of two

Tracing the history of Brighton's transformation from fishing village to seaside resort, this tiny museum under the arches on the seafront, provides an insight into the city's past.

A wooden fishing boat sits in front of the entrance and inside there are some interesting displays of old photographs and related information. Although it's only small, it's worth a look to gain some background of the local area and entrance is free.
