Hove

Beach Huts Hove

Hove is Brighton's less brash, more sedate neighbour. Its wide promenade is lined with colourful beach huts and backed by lush lawns which are ideal for sports and picnics.

Though far more relaxed than racy Brighton, Hove is certainly not dull: it's home to a great variety of restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and funky shops.

Sussex County Cricket Club plays host to three-day international matches and has also been a venue for large-scale concerts. Elton John and Lionel Richie have both played there recently.

Hove Seafront is perfect for a stroll and overlooks Hove Lagoon is an ideal spot for beginners to learn various water sports including paddleboarding, wakeboarding and windsurfing.
