Hayman’s Market
Something for everyone
Overlooking the West Coast, just south of Speightstown but at a higher elevation, Hayman’s Market is the ideal destination for a rainy day, or for escaping the coastal heat.
This converted plantation factory’s mantra is “Meet, Eat, Shop, Work, Live”, which sums up all that’s on offer. Browse the 50+ market stalls and boutique shops selling arts, crafts and hand-made products – a top spot for picking up gifts and souvenirs. Then, chill at one of the café-restaurants, or at the bar on the expansive Cooling Deck at the back, affording stellar views of the Caribbean. Check out the weekly yoga or salsa here.
With a stage and big screen (pictured above), Hayman’s is also an events venue – from live football screenings to music, comedy acts and art exhibitions. Check the website for details.
Tue–Sun 10am–5pm (retail), noon–8pm (food), from 8/9am (coffee)
