Baia

Fine Peruvian fusion (l,d; $$$)

The look is rustic-chic in Baia, which enjoys a tranquil waterside setting in northern Speightstown.

Expect innovative takes on Peruvian and other Latin American classics: from two versions of Peru’s mouthwatering national dish – ceviche – to ropa vieja featuring pulled pork (rather than the usual shredded beef) served on avocado mousse and patacones (deep fried plantain).

The airy deck and air-conditioned lounge are perfect for catching a West Coast sunset while sipping a chilled glass of wine and listening to the lapping waves.
