Catch 22
Seafood & sea views (l; $$)
Catch 22 is all about the setting: perched on a clifftop in flower-filled surroundings that attract hummingbirds, it offers stellar sea views. In the migrating season (Jan–April), you may be lucky enough to spot humpback whales.
Open primarily for lunch or a sunset drink (there’s a cocktail list), the restaurant has a simple menu, at accessible prices. Dishes are nicely prepared and service is friendly. Expect mainly seafood: fish cutters, fishcakes and catch of the day, though burgers, chicken and salads feature too.
It’s slightly out of the way, but well worth seeking out.
Location: Salmond Cul-de-Sac, St Lucy. Well signposted from Highway 1B at the junction by Crab Hill police station
