East Coast In-a-Day

Great views & crashing waves

Palm tree and waves

This itinerary takes in the highlights of the East Coast in a 35km loop that takes at least an hour to drive. If driven from Bridgetown this rises to 65km and about two hours.

Morning

Get an early start, by heading eastwards for a breakfast treat at PEG Farm. Then get your bearings by checking out the magnificent views of the East Coast from the top of Hackleton’s Cliff.

A short, well signed drive southeast along the escarpment takes you to St John’s Church; perched on the cliff edge, it also offers breathtaking views. From here, head downhill onto Highway 3 and dip into Codrington College – if only to appreciate the magnificent cabbage-palm-lined driveway.
