Café Luna
Romantic rooftop terrace (b,l,d; $$$)
It’s a magical experience dining out on the rooftop terrace of Café Luna (above), at the boutique Little Arches Hotel. With a Mediterranean feel, the terracotta-tiled patio overlooks Miami (Enterprise) Beach and as darkness falls, pretty lights add to the romantic atmosphere.
And then there’s the food: beautifully presented dishes such as grilled shrimp with champagne hollandaise sauce and roasted pepper tapenade, or the ever popular Bajan fish stew with sweet potatoes and veg in a pepper cream broth. Look out for the low-season prix-fixe menu deals.
The a-la-carte weekend brunch is another draw. Offerings range from pumpkin pancakes with triple sec banana cream to French toast stuffed with cheese and ham.
