Rocker
Buzzing Bondi cafe (l,d; $$)
A short walk north of Bondi Beach, slick Rocker is a solid all-rounder: hip cafe, bar and Mediterranean-inflected eatery. Drop in for specialty coffee (from Sydney roaster Single O), artisan pastries or all-day breakfast bites like chilli scrambled eggs with cheese and hot sauce.
Grazing options range from freshly shucked oysters to Spanish anchovies, with more substantial lunch dishes include house-made pastas and whole fish. Wash it all down with a boutique wine, local craft beer or creative cocktail.
The three-course Sunday roast ($45) is especially good value.
