Visitor Centres
All cities and most major towns and airports have visitor information centres and most are equipped with free maps and other local travel information. Staff are generally helpful and enthused, and some centres also sell local souvenirs as well as refreshments.
Free wi-fi and restroom facilities may be available, and some also book tours and accommodation. That said, accommodation options are often limited to businesses who are paying members of the local tourism body.
Visitor centres are also found at some national parks.
