Transport

SoCo

Airport

Many people arrive in Austin through Austin-Bergstrom International Airport which is located in southeast Austin, just east of the intersection of TX 71 and US 183, some 8 miles from downtown.

Taxis

Getting to and from the city is easy using a ztrip cab for approximately $25-$30; or the Airport Shuttle: Super Shuttle for approximately $12.

Buses

Or simply use the Capital Metro Bus, Austin's very reasonably priced public transport. A ticket between the airport and downtown costs $2.50. Single rides within the city are $1.25. The $2.50 "Day Pass" offers unlimited trips around Austin for a full 24 hours – you decide when to start the clock. Use the CapMetro App to find routes and purchase digital tickets.
