Mahonesa

Mayonnaise

Sobre la Cebolla ponemos Mahonesa

Spanish tradition has it that Mahonesa gets its name from the Menorcan capital of Mahón.

The much-disputed story has it that when the French invaded the island in 1756 they tried the local alioli sauce and adapted it by taking out the garlic, thus turning it into mahonnaise.
