Ceremonies in Cusco

Cacao & San Pedro

San Pedro cactus used to make wachuma hallucinogen

Several people in Cusco offer ceremonies with cacao, wachuma (San Pedro cactus) and even ayahuasca. These traditions usually come from the jungle or from areas outside of Cusco, but for most tourists it’s more convenient to do the ceremonies in Cusco. Besides not having to travel to remote rural areas, doing a ceremony in Cusco is more likely to have an English-speaking guide or shaman.

Kaukawa

In Cusco, the best person for spiritual cacao ceremonies is Fiorella of Kaukawa. Kaukawa has some ceremonies based on astrological events like the full moon, but you can also arrange cacao ceremonies at other times.

Andrea Isabel Mindreau leads dance and cacao workshops, which can include a cacao ceremony. Contact her by Whatsapp +51 941 492 564
