You may have known that bungy was invented in Queenstown, but did you know that zorbing was invented and developed by the Akers brothers in Rotorua in 1997?
The experience of rolling down a hill inside a giant inflatable ball has been an iconic adventure experience in Rotorua ever since. Do it dry, wet or with a buddy. There are four different ball-rolling tracks down Mt Ngongotaha, about 4km north of town.
