Jump off the original bungy bridge!

AJ Hackett Bungy - Queenstown

These days there are a few bungy sites in and around Queenstown, but it’s tough to go past where it all started, the historic 1880 Kawarau Bridge, where commercial bungy jumping was born in 1988.

The 43m-high bridge over the Kawarau River is 23km from Queenstown, out at the start of the Gibbston Valley, but never fear, if you haven’t got a car, bus transport can be included in the package.
