Mystic Seaport

Ye olde boates

Young people learn to sail at Mystic Seaport.

When the sirens summon to go a-whaling in the briny deep, head to Mystic Seaport, a 19th century re-creation village with tall ships, costumed storytellers, and hands-on exhibits.

Climb aboard the Charles W. Morgan, the last wooden whaleship in the world, or show off sailor skills by coopering and rope-making.

Kids and adults alike enjoy the working shipyard, vintage boats, and historic buildings transported from seaside towns across New England.
