Patisserie des Princes

The best pastries in the Medina (b)

Princes Patissserie

For a refined response to a sweet tooth attack, the Patisserie des Princes is what you need. Their pastries are a tad more expensive than in other Medina cake shops, but they're a whole league better.

For around 14–18dh you can choose a dreamy, creamy creation with chocolate or fruit from their chilled glass cabinet that will satisfy the keenest cakey craving. They also do good ice-creams and milkshakes.

There's an air-conditioned tea room at the back, where you can have your cake and eat it with a nice pot of atay bi-na‘na (mint tea). It's all very civilized, and a great place to stop by for a relaxing afternoon cuppa, or to have a Continental breakfast.
