Viridiana
Culinary creativity (l,d; €€€)
Named after the surrealist film of Luis Buñuel, Abraham Garcia's Viridiana promises the equivalent in terms of culinary creativity and sensory experience.
Viridiana has been serving up "slow food" decades before the phrase entered into modern parlance.
It does not come cheap, however, with set menus at €60 and €85 (not including drinks) and mains around the €30 mark.
