Nafpaktos

Home to the annual Battle of Lepanto

Kids diving in Nafpaktos port

Still quite untouched by international tourism Nafpaktos should be visited to admire the Medieval Venetian port, green landscape and beautiful beach stretching from the port to the end of town.

Rio–Antirrio Bridge

One of the world’s longest cable bridge’s leads to Nafpaktos

It’s located just opposite the Peloponnese on the western mainland on the north coast of the Gulf of Corinth.   There is a bridge that links this area, spanning the Gulf near the town of Patras–the spectacular Rio-Antirrio cable bridge, one of the world's longest multi-span cable bridges and the longest fully suspended bridge at 2250 meters.  It crosses the Gulf of Corinth from the town of Rio on the Peloponnese to the town of Antirrio near Patras.
