Pont de Chambon

Bridge over the Dordogne

This bridge spanning the Dordogne River, not far from Bassignac-le-Haut, provides good views both up and down the river which is very wide here due to being dammed at Chastang further downstream.

Not the most spectacular bridge in the area, it is impressive nonetheless and it does provide a good spot for picnics and fishing. In season boat trips by gabarre are available.
