Hwy 93A

Canada - Alberta - Jasper - Mount Edith Cavell

Hwy-93A, a small backroad, runs parallel to Hwy-93 (aka The Icefields Parkway) for a stretch of about 25km south Jasper.

Apart from being a scenic and relatively quiet drive, it gives access to a few trailheads and minor roads and the Wabasso Campground, a larger frontcountry camping option.

Hwy-93A's key attractions are the Marmot Basin ski resort in winter, and the hikes around Mt Edith Cavell in summer. And if you like a challenging bit of road biking, then don't miss the ride out-and-back to Cavell Meadows.
