Art lovers will find much to please in the West Midlands’ galleries, many combined with museums. Many collections in galleries around Birmingham reflect the industrial heritage of the area, while the Arts & Crafts Movement, defined by architects, designers and craftspeople such as Pugin, William Morris and stained glass artist Edward Burne-Jones, is reflected in many historic house interiors and churches.

Stately homes and historic houses exhibit to art collections, tapestries.and much more. Harvington Hall boasts Elizabethan wall paintings, while Upton House has an art collection featuring the likes of Bosch, El Greco. Hogarth and Stubbs.
