Attingham Hall
Grand designs in Shropshire
Replacing the original Tern Hall in 1785, Attingham Hall has Regency and Italian themes, telling the story of a splendid past. Explore showrooms including the Sultana Room and Drawing Room and admire the signature cantilevered staircase and Picture Gallery, both designed by British architect John Nash.
Before being generously bequeathed to the National Trust by the Berwick family, Attingham’s fine collections were curated, cared for and documented by Teresa, Lady Berwick. Treasures include royal Italian furniture made for the Queen of Sardinia, paintings, silver and textiles.
Enjoy the 200 acres of parkland, too.
