Kiftsgate Court Gardens
Hillside delight

This treasure on the opposite side of the road to Hidcote Gardens, has gorgeous garden flowing down a hillside of steep banks.
The garden was created by Heather Muir who was a friend of Hidcote's Major Lawrence Johnston. In contrast to its neighbour, Kiftsgate was not designed so much as created organically.
Seasonal features include a beautiful bluebell wood, rose border, white sunken garden and the wide border. Kiftsgate has its own rose, Rosa filipes 'Kiftsgate'. You can also stay here at Back Lodge, a 19th century detached holiday cottage in its own mature garden setting. (Weekly bookings, Friday–Friday.)
