Chipping Campden
Iconic Cotswold high street
Once a leading wool merchant's market town, Chipping Campden is a jewel in the crown of the North Cotswolds with a fascinating streetscape of stone buildings and the beautiful stone Market Hall, built in 1627.
With a wide choice of accommodation, restaurants and cafes, like Broadway, it makes a great base for exploring nearby villages, Stratford-upon-Avon and the North Cotswolds.
Chipping Campden was a favourite base for the Arts & Crafts movement, find out more at Court Barn and the Robert Welch British designed cutlery shop and showroom. The Chipping Campden Literature Festival and Music Festival are held annually in May.
