In autumn the leaves on the deciduous trees begin to change colour and then fall. The woodlands are beautiful, daylight hours are shorter. Time to cosy up in an inglenook beside an open fire in a centuries’ old pub.

Many festivals are held in late August/September including the famous Ludlow Food Festival.

Football and rugby matches begin. Halloween marks the end of autumn with pumpkin lanterns and costumes for kids.
