Tranquil evening at Ludlow Castle

The West Midlands is a collective of six counties. Five of these are Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Herefordshire. The sixth is the Metropolitan West Midlands, incorporating Birmingham and nearby cities and towns including Coventry, Solihull, Dudley, Sandwell and Wolverhampton, making it England’s second largest collective conurbation after Greater London.

Rich in industrial heritage, with busy Birmingham at its heart, the central hub is surrounded by some of England’s most beautiful rural countryside with its many scattered historic towns and villages.
