British Motor Museum
Starring cars
Into classic motors? Racing cars, film star cars, this place is packed with them!
The Museum has more than 300 classic cars, themed trails, guided tours and an interactive zone to see how cars work.
The Collections Centre is a separate storage building housing cars from the reserve collections of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust and the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust. About 250 or so cars are stored here and visitors can see restoration work underway. The cars are parked close together so you can’t walk around them but there are volunteer guides to help with your questions.
The collections includes stately Daimlers from the early 1900s, Jaguar saloons, racy E-types from the 1960s, racing cars, the 2001 Austin Powers Jaguar XK8 Union Flag press car and much, much more.
Close to both Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick, check the website for temporary exhibitions, shows and events.
