RSC Stratford

Shakespeare theatres

Royal Shakespeare Company

Seeing a Shakespeare play or two in Stratford-upon-Avon is a must for fans and the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) complex has a group of theatres with seasonal programs.

Even if you’re not seeing a play, you can look around and visit the cafe and bar spaces including the Rooftop Restaurant and Riverside Cafe, but you’ll need to take a tour to see the theatres and go backstage for a look behind the scenes. Exhibitions, and workshops are more reasons to visit . and much more at this iconic riverside destination.

The RSC is also family friendly with lifts to all floors and children are welcome at the cafes. There are school holiday and daily activities, too – Shakespeare-inspired craft instructions and activity sheets to download, while outdoor events and pop-up performances are all part of the mix.
